Learn

You're never too old to learn something new! Whether you're just here for the weekend or have lived here all your life, Fitzgerald's unique and rich history has something to teach us all. Attend City Meetings and be involved in the decisions impacting your community - stay active, stay informed. The Architectural Treasures Tour highlights downtown buildings reflective of Fitzgerald's diverse settlers. Read about the history of the City of Fitzgerald and it's Historic Downtown. Civil War buffs will thoroughly enjoy the Blue & Gray Museum, the Evergreen Cemetery Tour, and the Jefferson Davis Memorial Site. Becoming a Volunteer is also a great way to learn about the inner-workings of an industry or organization while at the same time being of service to others.
