The City of Fitzgerald's Public Works Department provides integral services to our community every day, including:

• residential & commercial garbage collection (Holiday Collection Schedule)
• landscaping of Evergreen Cemetery, city flower beds & median parks
• street, alley, sidewalk, ditch, and storm water maintenance
• service & repair of city vehicles and equipment

Our department's mission is to provide quality services to the Fitzgerald community. Developing and offering efficient, cost effective services in partnership with our citizens will help us achieve our vision of making Fitzgerald a leading city in the country by being an outstanding provider of Public Works services. ​
