Fitzgerald Municipal Court processes misdemeanor citations and code enforcement cases within the City of Fitzgerald. The duties of the court are; record case information, prepare court calendars, collect fine monies, record and transmit disposition information to Georgia Department of Driver's Services (DDS) and to Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC).

Fitzgerald Municipal Court uses JAG Probation services for all probation cases.

Paying Fines

Fines may be paid in person or online prior to scheduled court appearance. Fines may also be mailed in with a money order for the exact amount. The fee for traffic fines and other fines vary greatly depending on the charge, all affected persons are encouraged to contact the court to determine the exact amount of the particular fine.
