TGIF Program
TEAMWORK is important for the employees of Fitzgerald's GOVERNMENT and one way we can demonstrate our INVOLVEMENT to our community is by volunteering to help keep our city clean, while at the same time focusing on FITNESS to improve work performance. To this end, Deputy Administrator Kathy A. Young created the TGIF Program.
Every other Friday during lunch hours (11:30am-12:30pm & 12:30-1:30pm, weather permitting) this dedicated group walks the downtown area picking up trash, shopping in local stores, and demonstrating their efforts to staying fit and being healthy. The route begins at Central and Sherman and makes a 1-hour return trip to this location. All are welcome to join in our efforts as we improve TEAMWORK as GOVERNMENT employees who are INVOLVED in their community and are committed to FITNESS and keeping Fitzgerald beautiful! |
