Fitzgerald - Ben Hill County Library

With a rich collection of local and genealogy materials,  unique locally drawn murals in the children’s room, fast wired and wireless Internet access, a large meeting room,  and of course, up to date books, the library is a vital participant in the economic growth and development of Fitzgerald and Ben Hill County.  

 

From the library’s first home in a 1915 Carnegie building to the move in 1983
to the current location, library services have been an integral part of this community. 

 

With a collection of nearly 60,000 items and recent checkouts of over 6,000 items per month, the community has shown overwhelming support for the library and its services. As a member of PINES, a nearly state-wide library system, Fitzgerald library users can borrow from any participating library, place requests and renew items online.
